Before you Complete our Environmental Checklist here’s what you need to know:

The Department of the Environment has been working in conjunction with the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) in the bringing into compliance existing hotel/accommodation facilities. This effort is for the DOE, on one hand, to ensure that all hotels/accommodation facilities are complying with the existing environmental legislation and for the BTB, on the other it serves as a requisite for renewal of the hotel license.

Below you will be asked to complete our BTB CLEARANCE(EXISTING HOTELS) ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLIST Online Form. This environmental checklist has been tailored made for this purpose to allow for the submission of information that will facilitate the process of obtaining environmental clearance.
